We spent time with Conor at his home in Dungannon ahead of the wedding.
Horses, family, landscapes — the place offers a sense of grounding that doesn’t need explanation. It’s where he prepared for the day ahead, and where the first chapter of this story sits naturally.
Doonbeg — A Setting with Intent
The wedding took place at Trump International Doonbeg, chosen for its space, heritage and the ability to bring the people who mattered most into one place.
The ceremony at St Senan’s Church in Kilrush wasn’t without its humour — a slight misstep with missing rings almost became part of the day — but like most good stories, timing worked in their favour.
A Beginning Sparked in Passing
Conor and Amy first met in Dubai Airport.
A chance encounter — a pretence of needing directions — evolved into two hours of conversation, then long-distance calls, and eventually a return home that turned conversation into something lasting.
Travel remained a theme in their story, but when it came to their wedding, home was non-negotiable.
