All five leaders are celebrating huge success with Garda David Cryan shedding the most over the show’s eight week duration - a massive 3st 4.5lb.The Community Sergeant, 38, who is based in the Bridewell in Dublin, dropped from 19st 5.5lb to a trim 16st 1lbs after overhauling his diet and following expert Karl Henry’s fitness plans.The final show aired last night with the other contestants also revealing their impressive new figures.
After eight weeks of emotionally and physically overhauling their lives the five Operation Transformation leaders had their final weigh in on Wednesday night's show. David Cryan, Mary Diamond, Felicity Moroney, Sarah O’Callaghan and Wayne O’Donnell have collectively lost 10 stone 11 pounds after sticking to the RTÉ Operation Transformation food and exercise plan. Garda David Cryan lost the most weight, dropping an impressive 3 stone 4.5lbs, but all five looked sensational after their makeovers on the show, walking a catwalk for family and friends.
Two years ago to the day Sarah O'Callaghan was finishing chemo following cancer and Sarah and her family became very emotional when she showcased her new look after losing 1 stone 6.5lbs. "She's back," said her mum. Wayne O'Donnell, meanwhile, lost 2 stone 7.5 lbs while Felicity Moroney is down 1 stone 13 lbs after her journey. Mary Diamond lost 1 stone 7.5 lbs.
The group were all thrilled with their individual weight loss and Benetti Menswear were delighted to be a part of the journey. Styled by Louise O'Reilly (Style Me Curvy ~ Fashion and beauty for every curve) and fitted at leading menswear stockist Protocol For Men, both David and Wayne chose to wear sleek options from the new Spring Summer '18 collections.
