Store Feature Series || Part 1 || Patrick Bourke Menswear
Over the past few weeks we've taken some time out of the office to take a tour of the country and visit some of our retailers nationwide. This year we are really excited to officially announce that we are launching a series of short 'Store Features'. We introduce our 'Store Feature Series 2018'.
As part of our unique 'Store Feature Series', aimed at highlighting just some of our nationwide retailers, we begin with Patrick Bourke Menswear, Ennis, Co. Clare.
We are really excited to announce the release of a unique series of short episodes that go behind the scenes, speaking to our retailers as they talk about their retail business. We want to promote the retailers that showcase our collections season after season, here is the very first look at episode one.
Patrick Bourke Menswear was founded by Patrick Bourke in 1928 on the corner of ‘The Square’ in Kilrush. He sold menswear, ladies wear and children’s clothes. The shop became a heartbeat in the centre of the town. He built long standing relationships with his customers on the values of excellent service, high quality products and honesty. His son Michael joined the business in 1950 and continued to develop it. The business at this stage was an old Drapery shop.
In 1974, Michaels son, Patrick- the third generation- joined the family business and expanded the Kilrush shop to two floors and then opened their flagship store in Ennis which consists of 4 floors of quality menswear from international and local brands to suit all tastes and all ages.
We join Patrick in Ennis where he talks us through an introduction to his store, its background and some of his top tips in menswear. He also explains and showcases the new Benetti collections for Spring Summer 2018.
